Mine-Ex Consulting Group is an independent, Pan-African mining consultancy and investment firm that supports our clients to achieve their project and business goals by delivering excellence in mining projects, operations and investments through independent strategic, technical and investment services.
Mining is undoubtedly one of the most successful and
transformational sectors in Botswana. Decades of operating some of the worlds largest, most
complex - and some might say the most successful mines - was made possible by a deliberate
strategy to develop Batswana miners, engineers and professionals.
Educated at
prestigious mining and engineering schools across the world these professionals have gained
extensive experience operating and leading mines in Botswana and across Africa. But where and
how does this talent continue to add value to the industry, the mining value chain and to
governments concerned with optimising mining policy?
Mine-Ex Consulting was born to address this very
challenge. The company brings together experienced operators, advisors, risks managers and
consultants in mining to serve the diverse mining sector across Africa.
Our mission
is to leverage the immense African mining talent to grow the industry right across the mining
value chain. Successes and lessons learnt in some of the worlds best mining houses can and
should be leveraged across Africa to create real wealth for shareholders, governments and
communities.
We are are homegrown. We are Batswana. We are African. We bring this
unique perspective to each challenge and each assignment. Ours is not a business to capture
opportunities in this moment. Ours is a business born to deliver sustainable value for the long
term.
